The Purpose of the Association
The purpose of our association is to cultivate and improve upon a strong restaurant industry, as well as to improve the diet of the Japanese people for the growth and advancement of the culture of Japanese Cuisine.
We aim to do so by valuing the history and traditions of Japanese Cuisine, contributing to its succession and continuity, passing on its core values (such as table etiquette, manners and authentic flavors etc.) and further developing these values by improving our facilities and cultivating human resources.
Additionally, it is our mission to contribute to the promotion of tourism in Japan by aiding tourists, both domestic and foreign, in fully experiencing the wonders of the culture of Japanese cuisine.
